BAM! 2025: the ultimate gathering for bike travelers returns June 6-8, Villa Contarini (Italy)
A new location for an even bigger adventure
Thousands of cyclists from across Europe will ride to BAM! for three days of bike travel, inspiring talks, workshops, music, and community.
A celebration of every way to explore the world on two wheels.
BAM!, Europe's premier gathering for bike travelers, is gearing up for its 11th edition in a spectacular new location: Villa Contarini in Piazzola sul Brenta, Italy.
From June 6 to 8, 2025, thousands of cyclists from across Europe will converge in the villa's monumental 50-hectare park, nestled between Padua and Vicenza, to celebrate the spirit of bike travel.
The Veneto region, a longstanding advocate for cycle tourism, provides the perfect backdrop for BAM!. Villa Contarini, located along the iconic Treviso Ostiglia cycling route, connects cyclists to a network of paths that weave through mountains, historic cities, and the sea. It's an ideal hub for travelers seeking adventure, culture, and connection.
BAM! celebrates every facet of bike travel – from bikepacking to gravel riding, classic cycle tourism to epic bike adventures. Over three days, cycling enthusiasts will share stories, projects, and their passion for travel through exciting conversations, inspirational talks, and the sheer joy of riding together. The event uniquely blends cultural festival, music gathering, and bike meetup, and since its inception, participants have arrived exclusively by bike – often embarking on journeys weeks in advance.
In 2025, BAM! is poised to be bigger than ever. But for the organizers, numbers aren't the goal. "What counts is the experience travelers will have during the event and along the journey," says Eleonora Bujatti, BAM! co-founder.
At the last edition, participants collectively covered more than 400,000 kilometers – a testament to the event's commitment to sustainability and shared adventures.
The program, set to be announced in early 2025, promises exciting new features, thanks to the expansive Villa Contarini park. Highlights include a cinema area, a space for bicycle manufacturers, the BAM! Academy with workshops on photography, writing, and more, and even a podcast area.
For the first time, the camping area will be located within the Villa's park, creating a unique setting for attendees. Tent spaces are available for sale offering a chance to immerse yourself in the event's vibrant atmosphere.
As always, BAM! is a free event with free entry.
The event is sponsored by the Veneto Region.
