United Wheels Adds Ryan Karp As New Vice President Of Operations

DAYTON, Ohio, (January 14, 2025) – United Wheels (UW), the parent company of Huffy, Niner, Batch and Buzz Bicycles, recently announced the appointment of Ryan Karp as the company’s new vice president of operations and supply chain management. With more than 20 years of experience, Karp will oversee the operations teams, rider services teams, and supply chain management across multiple regions.

In his new role Karp will ensure seamless integration from procurement to final product. He will play a pivotal role in optimizing supply chain processes, improving efficiency, and driving innovation in both manufacturing and logistics. Karp will work closely with cross-functional teams across the globe to support the company’s mission to provide high-quality bicycles while maintaining sustainability and agility in the market.

Karp joins United Wheels from SparkMeter, Inc. where he was Chief Operating Officer. Prior to SparkMeter, he was the Director of North American Operations & Global Supply Chain for Norsk Titanium, Inc. (Nti), Global Supply Chain Director at OnLogic, Inc., and led business transformation for Cobham’s Advanced Electronic Sector as the Strategic Supply Chain Director.
