Pinkbike plaudits
As with all Whyte eMTBs, ELytes have been designed with the brand’s pioneering low centre of gravity concept that places the motor and battery mass – including the 250Wh PowerMore range extender – as low-down as possible to maximise stability and agility for a double-handling win.
This low centre of gravity design approach was first launched in 2019 on the brand’s E-150 eMTB with its rotated motor design allowing the battery to sit extremely low in the frame. Since then, the approach has evolved and been refined, consistently generating media recognition of Whyte’s exceptional handling e-mountain bikes. One of the most recent of which was Pinkbike’s ELyte 150 Works review by Seb Stott, in which he wrote: “The Whyte ELyte is the best handling eMTB I’ve ridden.”
