Inside Sales Specialist for Eastern Region

Petaluma, Calif, (May 30, 2024) - Marin Mountain Bikes Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of industry veteran Michael DeLano as an Inside Sales Specialist. Michael will support dealers and outside reps in the East Coast and eastern Midwest regions and comes to Marin after a long career working for companies such as GT/Riteway and Giant Bicycles, as well as being a bicycle retail store owner.

"Over my career, I've had the privilege of building some incredibly strong inside sales teams," shared John Georger, Vice President of Sales. "The best candidates, in my experience, are those with a background in bicycle retail, warranty/customer service, inside sales, and/or outside sales. In this case, we hit the jackpot since Michael has spent time in all of those areas. When you add his time as a bike shop owner, you will find that Michael is uniquely qualified to help our dealers in any circumstance as we grow our business together".

Michael commented, "Returning to the wholesale end of the bike business is like coming home. Marin has been great in welcoming me, and it will be great working with new and old friends I had previously met during my career."

In closing, John remarked "When we add in the experience of our current Lead Inside Sales Specialist Cindy Lacotta, a former Outside Sales Rep and retail store manager, I firmly believe we have two of the very best people in place to help our retailers grow with Marin. They truly understand the challenges that dealers face, as well as the opportunities to help grow sales.
