The partnership will include collaborating on a Share the Road campaign, sponsoring Cascade's bike rides and events, and donating a Honda Ridgeline for use in delivering bicycles to 20,000 students

SEATTLE (April 24, 2023) -- Western Washington Honda Dealers is partnering with Cascade Bicycle Club to support their vision of a safe and healthy future, where bicycles bring people together, eliminate inequity, and create thriving communities. The partnership will include collaborating on a Share the Road campaign, sponsoring Cascade's bike rides and events, and donating a Honda Ridgeline for use in delivering bicycles to 20,000 students, as well as supporting Cascade hosted rides.

Through their Drive Good™ mission, Western Washington Honda Dealers will support Cascade's Let's Go bicycle skills and safety curriculum. Over the course of the school year, Cascade delivers thousands of bikes for Seattle and Edmonds schools to use in their Let's Go classes. Cascade will use the Honda Ridgeline to pull bike trailers and deliver bicycles to more than 20,000 students across Western Washington. They will also use the Honda Ridgeline to transport materials to their bicycling events, including their iconic Kaiser Permanente Seattle to Portland ride, presented by Alaska Airlines on July 15th-16th.

"We are excited to support Western Washington Honda Dealers in their Drive Good™ initiative, aimed at encouraging Washingtonians to drive responsibly, to safely Share the Road, and to enjoy all that the beautiful Pacific Northwest has to offer including cycling," said Cascade Bicycle Club Executive Director, Lee Lambert. "Having a new Honda Ridgeline will be invaluable in terms of enabling us to transport bikes to schools, and for use as a support vehicle in our major rides. Western Washington Honda Dealers has a large audience of active, outdoor-minded customers who are seeking opportunities to explore our beautiful state. We are thrilled that these thousands of families will be encouraged to participate in our events, Share the Road with people on bikes, and join Cascade as members."

"We are thrilled to partner with Cascade Bicycle Club," said Western Washington Honda Dealers Association president, Jason Courter. "At Honda, we believe in promoting safety education and sustainable transportation solutions that benefit our communities and our planet. By teaming with Cascade Bicycle Club, we will increase awareness for Share the Road safety education initiatives and encourage more people to choose biking as a healthy, eco-friendly outdoor activity. We look forward to working together to support the cycling community and making our region a better place to live, ride, and drive."
