Managing Director of BMC USA, David Votava, announced the hiring of Joan Hanscom in the role of Marketing Manager, "Joan joins the team at a very exciting time for our company. With the launch of our SCOR mountain bike brand, our incredible URS gravel bikes and the full catalog of BMC bikes to celebrate, we are excited to bring Joan on to focus on telling our brand story and growing the BMC family of riders."
Hanscom, a long-time industry veteran, joins BMC after serving as the Executive Director of the Valley Preferred Cycling Center where she drove a renewed focus on community with a particular lens on growing female participation, youth and adult programming as well as cultivating digital community via The Talk of the T-Town podcast. Prior to her time at the VPCC, Hanscom served as Vice President of Event Services for USA Cycling and Marketing Manager for ABUS Mobile Security in Chicago.
