MEMPHIS, TENN. – Victory Bicycle Studio has hired revered Nashville cycling expert Lynn Greer to its team as Operations Manager.
Greer brings 30 years of cycling and operations experience to Victory from the Nashville market. Most recently, he owned and operated Gran Fondo Cycles in Nashville for 17 years.
"It's huge and I keep getting asked how we scored him by people in the industry," said Clark Butcher, owner and founder of Victory. "It's the first time I've ever hired someone with more experience and industry knowledge than me. Most importantly, we get along really well, he's completely aligned with what we're doing, and he is invested in Memphis."
Greer has relocated to Memphis from Nashville, opting to move to The Bluff City over more glamorous locations or staying put.
"Memphis is very refreshing in that it's local business after local business, and people go out of their way to support them," said Greer. "With what Clark has established with his business and how he has come out of the last year or two, really the center of the bike industry is shifting to Memphis. Victory has to be the biggest retail store in the state."
The Nashville native's role with Victory is operations-focused, but his knowledge and experience allows him to aid in all aspects of the shop's endeavors, including bike fitting and training.
