Kids Ride Shotgun are on a mission to raise the next generation of mountain bikers. Since announcing distribution with HLC last year, the New Zealand brand's child seat and kids tow rope have experienced strong growth.

Today, to further support growth in the North American market, Shotgun have appointed Lauren DiMartino as their new North American Market Lead. Based in Denver Colorado, Lauren has extensive experience and industry connections, having worked with Quality Bicycle Products & Liv, as well as local bike retailer Pedal of Littleton.

Lauren will be bringing on a network of new retailers for the kiwi brand, as well as supporting existing stockists like Mikes Bikes, Richardson Bike Mart and J&L Cycles. DiMartino says "I'm delighted to join an incredible team with the heartfull mission to raise MTB kids. The shotgun seat has expanded my family's ability to ride together and explore the outdoors with our 4 year old daughter. I'm honored to now bring that experience to more US families thanks to our growing retail network."

Suitable for kids aged 2 - 5, the shotgun seat is fully adjustable to fit all mountain bikes and features quick-release mounting for easy fitting and removal. A set of kids handlebars are also available. More recently the brand added a kids tow rope to their line-up, taking the hassle out of hill climbs for little legs, allowing for longer family rides.

Retailers that are keen to get on board with the brand can order with HLC, or contact Lauren lauren@kidsrideshotgun.com.
