BOULDER, Colo - February 23rd, 2021 - ECHOS Communications announces its formal partnership with the Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship, a nonprofit organization focused on building a sustainable, recreation-based economy in the Lost Sierra region of California.

This announcement coincides with the launch of SBTS's largest project to date, Connected Communities. Worth noting, this is a pro bono partnership, ECHOS offering services free of charge.

"The Lost Sierras hold a special place in our hearts," says Billy Sinkford, VP of ECHOS Communications. "Our work with the SBTS affords us the opportunity to give back to the active outdoor community that we hold dear, and help the stewardship continue building during this time of uncertainty. We can't wait to see our friends in Downieville in person, but for now, we help by raising awareness".

The partnership will continue for the 2021 calendar year, where events have been canceled in the region, and massive efforts for new trail are underway. With an ultimate goal of economic stimulus to rural mountain towns, this work will help bring awareness and funds to the SBTS and their goal of a recreation-based economy in Downieville and the surrounding network of towns.

"We could not be happier, ECHOS has supported us for some time, and solidifying the partnership as we grow is a major step for the Stewardship," replies Greg Williams, Executive Director of the Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship. Connected Communities is our largest project to date, and the ECHOS team will help us spread the message to a larger audience. People need to know about this place, its significance, and historical relevance."
