Taipei Cycle and TaiSPO will be the first physical cycling and sporting goods show since the pandemic

12 January 2021: Taipei, Taiwan - TAIPEI CYCLE and Taipei International Sporting Goods Show (TaiSPO) will take place March 3-6, 2021 at TaiNex 1. This is the first physical show for cycling and sporting related goods since the Covid-19 pandemic began. Both shows are supported by key industry players and have reached the scale of 1,000 booths for the two shows combined, becoming Taiwan's biggest cycle and sporting goods show. TAIPEI CYCLE Online & TaiSPO Online will kick off on the same day as the physical events, allowing international buyers to participate remotely using our new online platform.

TAIPEI CYCLE and TaiSPO's first combined physical and online events are supported by key industry players such as Merida, GIANT, Ideal Bike, KMC, SRAM and Shimano who will participate in both the physical and online editions. Fitness equipment manufacturers Johnson Health Tech and Dyaco will also join their respective online edition. These big brands will present their new products both online and within our physical event.

As 2021 is set as the year of bicycle tourism, the Taiwan Tourism Bureau will also have a big booth on site to promote local cycling travel by introducing various travel packages for two wheeled tourists. TaiSPO will have the Smart Baseball Pavilion to demo baseball pitching and blowing training, as well as VR technology for more general baseball training so that visitors can experience and have a glimpse of the training equipment used by the likes of MLB players.

Numerous industry key stakeholders will participate in both the physical and online shows
In terms of the on-site activities, the Fashion Show at Taipei Cycle will recruit local and international apparel brands and manufacturers to showcase their products alongside cycling accessories on stage. This will add a soft goods touch to TAIPEI CYCLE which has historically been more focused on hardware such as components, bicycles, and drive systems. The forum Beyond EXERCISE will invite well-known industry experts to share their insights on topics including smart applications, industry trends, and the changing sales channels and marketing tactics for the post-pandemic era.
