TRUE Communications Builds Leadership Team

Additions to the team will help TRUE better serve clients with a more diverse set of services

(Sausalito, CA — 26 October 2020) Integrated communications agency TRUE Communications recently announced a series of promotions to better service their rapidly expanding roster of clients and suite of services. TRUE has promoted Peter Nicholson to Partner, Greg Fisher to Partner, Garin Fons to Vice President, Marketing & Strategy, and Andrew Bernstein to Senior Account Director, Paid Media.

As we have grown, we have built an incredible team and I’m happy to be able to reward the folks who have delivered for our clients time and again,” said TRUE Founder and CEO Mark Riedy. “We have vastly expanded the services we offer and have built a team to deliver.  I’m confident that these new roles strengthen our position to expand while continuing to deliver the results our clients rely on to grow their brands.”

●      Peter Nicholson becomes Partner, with a focus on Client Services. Nicholson has been with TRUE since 2010, and currently leads key accounts including Giro Sport Design, Canyon Bicycles, and TrainingPeaks. Beyond his strategic account responsibilities, he will direct resourcing for all clients and management of TRUE’s staff.

●      Greg Fisher becomes Partner, with a focus on Partnerships/ Business Development. Fisher started with TRUE in 2015, and currently leads accounts including Zwift, MIPS, and Küat. Fisher also oversees growth of business opportunities for TRUE, which has expanded to over 20 brands.

●      Garin Fons has been named Vice President, Strategy & Marketing. Fons came to TRUE in 2018 following time as Brand Manager at Backcountry & Competitive Cyclist and currently directs accounts including CAKE Motorcycles, CADEX Cycling, and Giro Snow. In his new role, Fons will lead internal strategic initiatives that enhance TRUE’s core suite of client service offerings and will also oversee outbound agency marketing initiatives.

●      Andrew “Bernie”  Bernstein has been promoted to Senior Account Director, Paid Media. Bernstein joined TRUE in 2018, following a lengthy tenure in sales and marketing at Rodale and Hearst Digital Media. He leads strategy for clients including Rapha, Wahoo, Goldwin, and Supersapiens. In his new role, Bernstein will use his years of experience in media sales and marketing to oversee advertising programs for TRUE clients looking to maximize the reach and efficacy of their paid media efforts.
