Mequon, WI (August 27, 2020) – Rob Aguero joins Hayes Bicycle Group, as OE Account Manager for the Americas, based in Draper, Utah.
Aguero, a cycling industry veteran, has held positions covering international distribution, US aftermarket, OE account management, as well as marketing for multiple industry leading brands. Though his 20-year career, he has a developed expertise in suspension technology, hydraulic brake systems, and carbon wheels having spent five years previously working for Reynolds LLC in Salt Lake City, UT, prior Hayes’s acquisition of Reynolds in October 2018.
Rob originally came to the cycling world with a background in Education, having taught at the elementary level and earning a Masters in Bilingual Education from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. The bike industry got its hooks in him while on the sales floor at one of Dallas’ early cornerstone shops “Wheels in Motion” and the rest, as they say, is history.
