Member of the Mountain Bike Community -

In 2004, a group of seven skateboard industry members gathered around a table to discuss ways to both increase participation and unify the skateboard community.  What started as a small idea at that table grew into an annual phenomenon that sees tens of thousands of skateboarders from all around the world take to the streets, parks and ramps to show support for the sport that they love.  Fifteen years after that meeting, there is not a brand, retailer, media outlet, organization or location that doesn’t recognize and celebrate what is now known as “Go Skateboarding Day.”

Three years ago, a small group of MTB industry members decided the mountain bike community could benefit from something similar and designated JULY 20 as INTERNATIONAL RIDE MTB DAY.  The first two years have been a period of amazing growth for the day, With participants  from over 50 countries, excellent MTB community adoption and over 45 millions of impressions thanks to support from brands and organizations throughout the space.

For 2020, we need your continued support to maintain the momentum RIDE MTB DAY has in the Mountain Bike Community by helping promote the day and encouraging riders to get out and safely enjoy the day by riding their bikes.  The world needs to ride their bikes more than ever this year, and you can help get the word out that Ride MTB Day is the day to do it!

Keep in mind that #RIDEMTBDAY doesn’t belong to any one person or  any single group.  If you are a mountain biker it belongs to you, so please join us in recognizing and celebrating the “Official Holiday of Mountain Biking” JULY 20 – INTERNATIONAL RIDE MTB DAY.
