Longmont, Colo. (BRAIN) — Based in Colorado since 1994, Polar Bottle - the originator of the first reusable, insulated and BPA-free sport water bottle – was acquired by HydraPak in late 2018. Following the brand re-launch earlier this year, HydraPak recently relocated Polar Bottle's operations from Boulder to an expanded facility in Longmont, doubling its capacity to house product development, customer service, sales and manufacturing. The move continues a commitment by HydraPak to provide jobs and support local suppliers within Colorado's Front Range community in the development of Polar Bottle products.

Within the expanded facility, Polar Bottle launches its new custom bottle program for its collection of updated Breakway® and Breakaway® Insulated cycling bottles and Sport Insulated bottles. Utilizing new printing and manufacturing equipment that is 30% faster than previous processes, Polar Bottle can now customize up to 16 bottles simultaneously. The new system also offers 360-degree wrapping decoration and design capabilities in unlimited colors with increased precision in color matching. Aiding Polar Bottle's sustainability efforts, the new equipment allows for waste-free material processing, thereby reducing material consumption and waste in the custom process by 70%.

New Polar Bottle product innovations include the Breakaway® line of cycling-specific water bottles with new Tri-LayerTM Insulation offering optimized insulation to keep fluids 2x cooler than original reflective technology and a high-flow SurgeTM Cap with fully removable nozzles for easy cleaning. Bottles are available in 20 and 24 oz versions.

"For the past year we have been focused on redesigning our product offering while sharpening our manufacturing capabilities to be the very best in Colorado," said HydraPak CEO, Matt Lyon. "We are very excited to continue to build the Polar Bottle brand with a bike focus that goes back to its roots."

Supporting sell-in of the new collection, HydraPak hired two new regional sales managers, Luke Bunting to cover the East Coast markets and Nick Clark overseeing the West Coast.
