Starting Monday April 6, BTI will resume pick, pack, and ship with limited staff at both locations. After a week-long pause from shipping, the company said it can confidently reopen earlier than planned, observing strict enforcement of social distancing regulations and tight adherence to cleaning and disinfection guidelines for its employees.

“Following decisions by the Department of Homeland Security’s CISA and the State of New Mexico to define bike businesses as essential, we reassessed how BTI can safely provide shops with necessary repair parts during the crisis,” said BTI’s President Preston Martin.

BTI warehouse staff who are comfortable working with safeguards in place have opted to resume shipping and receiving operations. Office staff continue to work remotely to limit unnecessary contact.

BTI’s website is accepting orders again effective immediately with a limited-time $300 free shipping threshold. With a reduced warehouse staff, BTI’s standard cutoff times won’t be guaranteed. BTI suggests that retailers place orders earlier in the day to improve chances for same-day shipment.

BTI’s suspension repair and wheelbuilding departments have continued uninterrupted throughout the suspension of operations.

“Like most of you, we will continue adapting daily to the situation and exploring new ways to keep everyone safe. Our heartfelt thanks goes out to everyone who wrote to us over the past week. And to all those impacted by the virus, please let us know if we can help.” Martin said.
