Highway Two, the exclusive distributor of many premium cycling brands in North America announces that Ryan Borders has assumed the role as President of Highway Two, LLC as of September 17, 2019.
Borders has over six years’ experience in executive roles across various industries. He most recently served as COO for Yuneec USA, the Americas division of the global UAV manufacturer, Yuneec International. Borders brings extensive business operations improvement experience and a long-held passion for cycling and fitness to his new role.
“Highway Two has long been known for its top brands, knowledgeable staff and effective sales force. Now it’s time we’re known for the best service.” said Borders. “We’ve made some major logistical improvements. As of February 1st, we began shipping 95% of our orders within one business day. With the addition of our second distribution center in Reno, NV, we are now able to deliver orders to 98% of our customers in the lower 48 states within three business days.” Borders added.
“We are very proud of what we have created in Highway Two and the selection of brands we offer to North American dealers” said Gaspare Licata, CEO of Crankbrothers and board member of H2. “We have been asking our dealers what we should do as a company to get better and they have helped us to understand what we had to do. That’s when we realized we had to improve our overall service to our dealers, reduce shipping time and improve stock availability. At that point we decided to hire a professional with such a strong background in operations.”
