Reynoldsburg, OH, January 22, 2020– Kenda would like to announce that Matt Boissy has been promoted to the position of Director of Bicycle for American Kenda Rubber. "We are excited that Matt has stepped into this role and look forward to much success as Matt leads Kenda's North American Bicycle Team into the next decade", said Chairman and President of Kenda, Jimmy Yang.
Boissy, currently serving as the North American OEM Sales Manager, joined Kenda in 2014 as the Aftermarket Sales Manager. Before his time at Kenda, Boissy's work experience included working with a national bicycle chain, roles in education, and contract work in Antarctica.
"The diversity in Matt's background brings unique experiences to the team, which have allowed him to showcase his abilities as a leader for the department", said Yang. Boissy will continue to manage OE bicycle sales for North America in addition to assuming the leadership position.
"I am excited to move forward in my new role", said Boissy. "There is a great team in place, and I am eager to continue to build on Kenda's legacy in the bicycle market while honoring its rich tradition."
Al Clark, the current Director of Bicycle, will be stepping back in his role, to focus his time exclusively as the Product Development Manager of Bicycle Tire at Kenda. "Al has done an excellent job guiding Kenda's product line over the last four years. We look forward to him continuing in this capacity.", said Yang.
