VISTA Calif. — We are proud to announce the hiring of Scott Matsuda as Masi product manager.

"It is with great pleasure that we welcome Scott Matsuda to the Haro family of brands," explained Pete Garski, Haro's vice president of International Sales and Product Development. Garski added, "Scott will be responsible for developing Masi's 2021 product line and will play a key role in the design and execution of Masi's brand strategy."

Matsuda brings with him over 15 years of experience in a variety of roles, including product development, dealer support, and retail store management. Formerly with Felt Bicycles, Matsuda joined Masi in early August. He also continues to race in Southern California's competitive Master's 45-plus field.

When asked about Masi's 2020 product line, Matsuda explained, "We see the 2020 model year as a transitional model year leading up to a major 'reboot' of the line in the latter part of next year. I have a number of projects currently in the works that we're excited to share with our dealers as part of our 2021 offering, but to speak about any of them right now would be premature. What I can share is that I'm excited to be part of a brand that has the history and pedigree that Masi does."

Matsuda can be reached by phone at (760) 599-0544, ext. 100, or via email at scott@harobikes.com.

Now over 90 years old, Masi Bicycles was purchased by Haro in 2002 from former owner Ted Kirkbride and remains a staple in Haro's portfolio of brands. For more information, go to masibikes.com
