STOCKHOLM — Thule Group on Monday announced that Lennart Mauritzson has informed that he will leave his position as CFO of Thule Group to take on the role as CEO of the privately owned family company Backahill AB in Ängelholm, Sweden.

"Lennart has, during his eight years as CFO, contributed to the business development and strong financial position of the company," said Magnus Welander, CEO and president of Thule Group. "He has built a strong business driven financial organization with a proactive business mind-set. I have personally appreciated our cooperation during the years, especially during the time of restructuring the company and during our stock exchange listing. When Lennart now gets the opportunity for a new exciting position closer to his home, I can only wish him all the best, and I am convinced he will be successful. At the same time, I am confident that Thule Group is well equipped for our continued exciting growth journey."

Mauritzson has a six-month notice period. He will continue in his current role during his notice period. Thule Group will immediately initiate a process for the recruitment of his successor.
