enviolo has appointed Peter Kreuder, Koen van der Weerd & Richard Hilgart as new department heads
AMSTERDAM, Netherlands - a successful first half of 2019 has prompted the innovative cycling component company to further strengthen its core business pillars.
On June 1st, Peter Kreuder, previous head of R&D at Riese & Müller, joined enviolo as the Director of Product Management. Prior to Riese & Müller, Peter worked at Flyer as the Sales Director and Trek, where he worked in Business Development. Peter will be responsible for leading enviolo in creating and executing a compelling, market winning product vision and roadmap and will lead Product Management at the strategic and tactical level.

Richard Hilgart, who previously was in charge of product management, now heads the new marketing team as the Senior Marketing Manager. Having worked for enviolo since the start of 2016, he has been instrumental in the improvement of product quality as well as launching the new current enviolo product portfolio. As Product Manager he also championed the latest radical automatic stepless-shifting system for enviolo, which will be launching later this year. According to enviolo, Richard's product knowledge, industry experience and dedication gives him a unique perspective when launching product to market.
Richard says of his new position: "I am excited to go full cycle with the new automatic product introduction from first idea to commercialization, while leading enviolo's Marketing initiatives into the digital future."
As the last addition, enviolo is pleased to announce that Koen van der Weerd, has been appointed Director of Business Development as of May 1st. Koen was Export Manager for Royal Dutch Gazelle, pon.bike, where he led the strategy for international growth of e-bikes. At enviolo, he will be responsible for the worldwide sales activities and driving strategy to maximise value for both existing and key growth markets.
