Tailwind Nutrition Receives 2019 Governor's Award for Excellence in Exporting
Annual award recognizes drivers of economic growth through international business
Durango, CO – May 15, 2019 – Colorado-based sports drink manufacturer, Tailwind Nutrition, is proud to be named the recipient of the 2019 Governor's Award for Excellence in Exporting. The award, a joint recognition from the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) and the World Trade Center Denver, has been given to Colorado exporters annually since 1970. Tailwind Nutrition was formally recognized at World Trade Day, the Rocky Mountain Region's premier international trade event due to their rapid growth in global markets.

World Trade Center Denver is a business network organization serving the Rocky Mountains Region whose mission is to help its members collaborate locally so they can thrive internationally. Their signature event is World Trade Day, an international trade and investment conference for the Rocky Mountain Region with over 700 participants. Addressing challenges and opportunities in global trade, the annual event features keynote speakers, a networking reception, and a brand expo. Tailwind Nutrition received their award from Lt. Governor Primavera as part of the event's program.
