Knog Appoints Colin Brown To Sales Manager – The Americas

MELBOURNE, Australia — Knog is proud to announce the appointment of Colin Brown to the new position of Sales Manager – The Americas. Brown also operates Demo Worx — a dream bike demo service that operates all-over California.

"It's great to have another avid cyclist, like Colin, join the Knog family," offers Knog CEO and Co-Founder Hugo Davidson. "We're excited to see him combine his passion for cycling and his rich sales experience to help the Knog team light up North America."

Brown grew up in the bike industry. After first managing a Chicago-area local bike shop, he moved into the role of outside brand representative for Abus Locks. Eventually, Brown moved over to work for Highway Two as an inside sales representative and he then developed All In Sports Group, a southwestern-based agency representing the Highway Two portfolio, 100% Glasses and Apparel, Skratch Labs, Cadence Clothing and Intense Mountain Bikes.

Knog's hire of Brown coincides with Knog retaining Colorado-based Hot Route Media as its global public relations agency.

Knog was founded in 2002 as an Australia-based outdoor product company. We are the lovechild of co-founders Hugo Davidson (designer) and Mal McKechnie (engineer) who shared the same vision: to make unboring things. we see "urban" as an attitude rather than a geography. Our products are not only for the city, or only for bikes. Urban to us is modern, progressive, youthful, design-driven, daring, and hedonistic. It's not the opposite to rural, or outback, or backcountry – all of which can share these properties. We like to sprinkle some of this urban flavor across all of our cycling and outdoor products.
