Restrap will exhibit their entire collection in celebration of their 10th birthday
As part of their ten-year anniversary celebrations, Restrap are exhibiting their complete range of bike packing and touring luggage at the Bespoked UK Handmade Bicycle Show in Bristol, 2-5 May 2019.
The show is significant to the brand, being the first they ever attended. Back then Restrap comprised two members of staff, two sewing machines and two products, and was housed in a 350 square foot workshop.
Fast forward ten years, and the workshop and brand have expanded beyond recognition. The Restrap team now includes 25 members, between them producing a full range of bicycle luggage and touring accessories. Restrap products are now sold and exhibited across the world.
Sales Manager Edward Kingston says: "We were keen to return to Bespoked, a show where we have had so much success. In the past we've exhibited the Restrap X Woodrup collaboration for the Transcontinental Race, as well as the Restrap X Sven Cycles foraging bike".
Founder Nathan Hughes says: "Bespoked is the only event of its kind in the UK for frame- builders and specialist independent bicycle manufacturers – it's the perfect place for us to demonstrate new products".
Indeed, Restrap is looking forward to showcasing their recently launched panniers and dry bags at the show. Like all Restrap products, both are made completely in-house with the team's new tape sealing and CNC cutting machinery.
Restrap is a family-run company with one simple aim: to produce the best bike packing gear for every kind of bicycle. They're a close-knit team of keen cyclists with an eye for adventure and are about to enter their tenth year of business.
Restrap is keen to look after the precious environments their customers ride in. For that reason, they do their best to minimise their carbon footprint. All their materials are sourced in the UK, and sewn by hand in their Yorkshire workshop.
