[Waterloo, WI] - On the heels of hosting its second-ever Telenet UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup Waterloo, Trek Bicycle has renewed its broadcast agreement to stream the DVV Verzekeringen Trofee and Soudal Classics cyclocross series live on the brand's website, trekbikes.com.
Beginning Thursday, November 1, North American cyclocross fans will be able to watch the series of eight races free of charge.
"Providing incredible hospitality is a big part of what we do here, and lowering the bar of access to cycling is part of how we embody that commitment," said Trek Product Marketing Director Michael Mayer.
The free livestream on trekbikes.com is an easy, risk-free, and reliable way for fans to watch world-class cyclocross from their computer, phone, or tablet.
2018 marks the third straight year that Trek has livestreamed the DVV Verzekeringen and Soudal series. Trek also livestreamed the last two Telenet UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup Waterloo races. As in years past, the broadcast will make it easy for North American fans to see the world's best cyclocross athletes in action, including the Trek-sponsored Telenet-Fidea team and Bontrager athlete and current World Champion Wout van Aert.
American fans can expect to see a familiar face return to the women's field this year, as Trek athlete and 14-time US National Champion Katie Compton plans to race the European series.
The free stream is available to viewers on trekbikes.com in the United States and Canada. Simply visit the Trek website to watch the action live. The complete streaming schedule is below.
