Website tool makes it easier for consumers to customize their dream bikes
STEAMBOAT SRPINGS, Colo. (Sept., 10th, 2018) Moots Cycles is proud to announce the launch of a configuration tool on its website, moots.com. The tool provides customers and dealers alike the ability to customize all stock size bicycle models by selecting groupsets, components, wheels, tires, finishes and additional weld-on options like pump pegs and chain hangers.
The customization tool has been in development for the past year, and is now ready to use. Consumers can create their own custom spec at home and email it to both themselves and Moots, or print it off to take to their local dealer. Dealers can likewise walk customers through the many Moots build options in their shops to create virtual builds. All orders will be fulfilled through local dealers.
The configurator also takes the guesswork out of the buying process. Every model starts with a base price, and as selections are made in the configurator, it automatically updates the final price of the intended bike build. This gives the customer the ability to build their bikes in terms of desired parts selection while simultaneously informing them of what their choices will cost.
"People are increasingly able to research their next bike purchase online, and we wanted to make Moots more accessible in that way," said Moots president Drew Medlock.
