Prices lowered about 19 percent across the range.

SPEARFISH, S.D. (BRAIN) — SRAM's Quarq brand is lowering prices on its entire power meter range, effective immediately. Prices have been reduced by 19 percent depending on model.

The price cuts apply to the cranksets for road, mountain bike and triathlon. The brand's lowest price for a power meter is now $1,099 for the Riken R set, which includes  arms and a spider that is compatible with 10- and 11-speed chainrings. The Riken R's previous retail price was $1,200.

Other price drops are for the Elsa R and SRAM Red 22 cranks, which are reduced from $1,600 to $1,299, and the Elsa RS and SRAM XX1, which are reduced from $1,600 to $1,399.

All Quarq power meters were updated last fall with automatic temperature compensation and a new AXCad accelerometer-based cadence. The Quarq products require use of an ANT+-compatible wireless head unit.
