Polar launches fitness tracker with heart rate and other features

LAS VEGAS (BRAIN) — Polar is launching a new fitness monitor at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this week. The new Polar A300 offers activity tracking, heart rate monitoring with a Polar H7 heart rate sensor, automatic sleep tracking, calorie burn and inactivity alerts.

The tracker has a wrist display screen and Bluetooth Smart syncing with Polar's apps. Unique Polar Smart Coaching features include: Activity Guide, Activity Benefit, Smart Calories, Fitness Test, EnergyPointer, Training Benefit and access to an array of Polar training programs.

The A300 will retail for $139.95 for the watch and band, or $179.95 for a bundle with watch, band and heart rate sensor. 

The watch and band are available in white, black and pink; interchangeable bands are available in white, black, pink, blue, gray and yellow. It will be available in February at national electronic retailers, national sports retailers, speciality stores and from PolarUSA.com.
