CHICAGO, IL (BRAIN) — SRAM is recognizing the growth in sales of fat bikes, offering new fat bike versions of its X9 and X5 cranks.
The cranks have a 100mm wide spindles and dedicated SRAM 2X10 chainrings. The company said the design eliminates most tire-to-chain rub often found on fat bikes. SRAM also said the cranks are lighter than most current fat bike crank offerings.
The cranks have 36/22 gearing.
The X9 is available in gray in 170 and 175mm lengths, at MSRP of $314.
The X5 version is black, also in 170 or 175 lengths, at MSRP of $169.
