BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (BRAIN) — QBP is introducing a new service called Retail to Home Delivery for retailers enrolled in the top tier of the distributor's Dealer's Choice program.
The service allows those retailers to place an in-store order on behalf of their customer, for items they don't have in stock, and then elect to have QBP ship it directly to the consumer's home. This helps the retailer retain the sale while providing their customers with a convenient shopping experience, the company said.
Most of QBP's suppliers are participating in this service, however some items, including bikes and QBP frames, are excluded.
"We're excited to introduce Retail to Home Delivery and help connect great brands with consumers, while equipping retailers with tools they can use to deliver positive experiences to their customers. This new service allows retailers to compete in the changing retail market," said Rich Tauer, QBP's president.
QBP is initially enrolling a small group of retailers in Retail to Home Delivery and will make the service available to all top-tier Dealer's Choice members later this fall. It plans to eventually offer Retail to Home Delivery to any retailer enrolled in Dealer's Choice.
