DAYTON, Ohio (BRAIN) — Industry veteran Bruno Maier, most recently with RockyMounts, has taken a job at Huffy Corporation in Ohio. Maier previously worked for Huffy in the 1990s.
"We are excited to have Bruno back at Huffy and recognize the rare perspective he has of the bike industry. From his leadership experience at Pacific to the nonprofit side at PeopleForBikes, Bruno understands our industry, its customers and consumers," Huffy CEO Bill Smith said.
The company said Maier's "responsibilities include leading a range of projects."
Maier said, "Huffy is tremendous company. The brand has endured for 125 years because the company recognized market trends and reacted with the right innovations. That is what excited me right out of college and what brings me back today."
