Niner adds two field marketing reps and opens factory store

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (BRAIN) — Niner Bicycles has added two field marketing positions, to support the brand's sales reps with marketing in the brand's East and West regions. The company also announced that it is opening a factory store in Fort Collins.

The company said the field marketing team will provide demo support and technical education to Niner dealers, as well as traveling their respective territories attending both Niner-sponsored and other consumer-oriented events. Demos are scheduled to begin in early May. Previously, Niner sales reps were responsible for both sales and regional marketing support.

Niner's new director of sales, Aaron Martin, said, "Putting more Niner assets in the field gives us the ability to be in more places more often. It's going to let the reps concentrate on their primary sales duties, providing more support to our dealers and identifying new growth opportunities. And the stand-alone demo and tech support component gives a great toolset to communicate the Niner brand."

Niner said the new storefront "provides Niner an opportunity to present their products directly to riders and experiment with the tangible retail environment."

"Our factory store will take Niner's customer service and product interaction with the consumer to the next level. We have a ton of knowledge and passion about what we make and this space gives us an in-person opportunity to relay our passion and knowledge to the consumer," said Mike Gann, Niner's president.

The store will focus on selling new, current-model bikes and related Niner merchandise to riders in the Front Range communities. It also will house a fleet of current-model demo bikes for local use. Niner will continue to maintain an electronic storefront on its website, where consumers can find Niner brand items, components and small parts.
