Küat Racks to plant one tree for each rack sold this year

Published February 16, 2015

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (BRAIN) — Küat Racks is joining The National Forest Foundation's “Trees for US” program, which will result in NFF planting one tree for each rack sold this year.

Küat has nicknamed this program the “Future Forest Initiative;” stickers will be placed on new racks sold this year.

The NFF will choose the location of the plantings, which will be concentrated on areas affected by fire, insects and disease and other damaged areas of National Forests.

“We’re very excited to work with the National Forest Foundation. Lots of research was involved with selecting the right fit for Küat where we felt we could have a significant impact. Through the discussions and opportunities presented by Wes Swaffar, (Senior Manager, Ecosystem Services), this felt like the natural fit for us and will be an exciting development for the company," said Tom Lampe, Küat's national sales manager.
