CARLSBAD, Calif. (BRAIN) — The Enthusiast Network, the publisher of Bike magazine, has made two appointments at the title. At the same time, Bike has consolidated its team at TEN's new headquarters in Carlsbad.

Adam Watkins has joined Bike as its new general manager. Watkins also continues as general manager of TEN's Ride BMX title.

"I'm honored to join Bike and look forward to working alongside such a talented group that creates the most influential media in the space," said Watkins. "I see the evolving media landscape as an opportunity to further propel Bike onto new platforms and markets in concert with traditional channels — creating more value for our advertisers and a more efficient and interactive audience experience."

Bike also has appointed Jon Weber as its new online editor. Weber, a Massachusetts native who cut his digital teeth with Mountain Bike Vermont (mtbvt.com), will coordinate bikemag.com's daily coverage and monitor its social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.

"I'm stoked to be part of Bike and am looking forward to exploring new digital platforms that will enhance our online presence," said Weber. "Traveling and riding with the team is a bonus, but my main goal is to continue growing Bike's following with coverage that's reflective of our world-class brand."
