Chapin takes on marketing for Raleigh, Lapierre in North America

KENT, Wash. (BRAIN) — Accell North America has hired Steve Chapin as marketing director for its bike brands Raleigh and Lapierre.

A cyclist and triathlete who has raced road and cyclocross for the past 20 years, Chapin began his industry career 19 years ago with Seattle Bike Supply before moving to the agency and event management side of marketing. Most recently, he returned to the industry as marketing director at Saris, where he oversaw marketing for CycleOps trainers and PowerTap power meters in addition to Saris racks.

“With such a broad base of marketing experience, (Chapin) will be instrumental in helping Raleigh and Lapierre continue to grow,” said Chris Speyer, chief operating officer at Accell North America. “His passion for cycling and time in the industry will be great assets as well.”
