Published August 23, 2013

CHICAGO, IL (BRAIN) — Josh Poertner is leaving SRAM to pursue other business opportunities, the company announced Thursday.

Poertner held several positions at SRAM over 13 years and departs in the role of technical director for the Zipp brand.

“Josh was instrumental in building us to our current position in carbon wheels, both before and after the acquisition of Zipp. His creativity has put us on a great path, and we have some wonderful products in development. SRAM has made huge investments in R&D, processing, human resource, and infrastructure in recent years. Michael Hall and our first class development team will be deployed to continue our drive forward in the excellent market position we currently enjoy,” said Jason West, vice president for aftermarket sales and product at SRAM.
