Jayson Goh takes over CatEye’s U.S. office

Published August 7, 2013

BOULDER, CO (BRAIN) — CatEye announced that Jayson Goh is now heading up its U.S. office as president, replacing Thomas Prehn, who will no longer be involved with the company’s daily operations. Prehn will continue to work for CatEye as strategic business and product innovation director and report to CatEye Global, the company said.

Goh has worked at CatEye for more than 20 years, said the release. He started in the sales department at Cateye in 1992 and is now director of global marketing for CatEye Japan. He's been based out of Japan.

“Jayson has been a longtime colleague. He has been on the board of CatEye America since the beginning. Two people helped form CatEye America—Jayson and myself. He and I have worked many years together. It’s natural for him to take over the position,” Prehn said Tuesday.

Prehn said his responsibilities will shift and he “will be deeply involved in evolving the product line.”

“I’m going to work on global product issues and strategic partnerships,” he added.
