Published July 8, 2013

LEXINGTON, SC (BRAIN) — Distributors Lambert and Hawley have each added the Italian shoe brand Northwave to their offerings. Both companies will start distributing Northwave's 2014 model year line on Sept. 1.

"We are really excited to start this new partnership with Lambert and Hawley, North America's premier product distributors for the bicycle industry. Northwave is experiencing a special momentum in the cycling industry worldwide, and this new partnership will finally ignite the success in such strategic market," said Nicola Agostinetto, sales and marketing manager at Northwav. “Lambert and Hawley will carry the complete range of Northwave shoes, and we look forward to growing our business in both Canada and U.S. with them.”

Lambert, based in Lévis, Quebec, owns a majority interest in Hawley, which is based in South Carolina. Both companies have several regional warehouses.

“Shoes are an interesting category," said André Trudeau, Lambert's product director. "We’ve been holding out for a partnership with the right brand, and we’re excited because Northwave is one of the world's leading manufacturers of cycling shoes ... The addition of Northwave really rounds out our apparel and accessory offering for our IBD partners.”
