CrossVegas Has New Web Site

Published June 20, 2010

LONGMONT, CO (BRAIN)—Heading into the fourth year as the largest cyclocross race in the U.S., CrossVegas has revamped its Web site with the assistance of Ellmore Consultancy Ltd, a U.K. based provider of web and e-commerce services.

“We needed to update our look as well as incorporate new features like Twitter feed and a shopping cart to bring the site into the modern age,” said race director Brook Watts. “The site was going into its fourth year and was starting to burst at the seams.”

The cleaner look for www.crossvegas.com (click on link) offers greater navigation, improved archiving of past stories, results and image galleries and an online payment facility.

Dan Ellmore, president of Ellmore Consultancy Ltd. said, “CrossVegas is an amazing event taking place in an incredible venue in front of the entire bicycle industry at Interbike. We’re excited to be involved with such a high profile event by revamping the online presence and bolting in the additional facilities the rapid growth of this event requires.”

“Dan combines his web expertise with a vast knowledge of cycling so the result is a site that works perfectly for CrossVegas rather than some one-size-fits-all approach," Watts said in a press release.

The Twitter feed provides constant updates of CrossVegas news. The Shopping Cart feature will allow direct sales of CrossVegas amenities like VIP Packages and Team Parking. “No longer will it be necessary to Fax in credit card authorization forms,” Watts said.
