Published April 30, 2014

LYON, France (BRAIN) — Mavic is celebrating its 125th anniversary with VIP events in France as well as limited edition products available worldwide.

In France, company officials and guests attended a two-day event tracing Mavic's history at several locations.

On the product side, the company is selling a limited edition 125th Anniversary Ksyrium 125 Wheel-Tire System and a matching HC 125 jersey and bib short.

The HC Wheel-Tire System includes aluminum rims with a new machining process to remove weight and create a deeper, more rounded profile for better aerodynamics. The wheels have Zicral spokes and are matched with new Yksion GripLink and PowerLink clincher tires. The set with tires weighs 1,920 grams, or 1,370 grams without tires.  They will be available in late may for MSRP $1,849.90.

The limited edition HC 125 bibs will arrive in late June and feature a new Ergo 3D Pro insert and supportive Skin Power material in the leg panels. The new Ergo 3D Pro insert has progressive padding, a softer face fabric, lighter weight, and improved breathability. MSRP is $149.

The matching HC 125 Jersey is made with Mavic's Ride Wick ST fabric with added cooling thanks to Air Mesh inserts. It will be available starting in late June for $124.90.
