MILL VALLEY, Calif. (BRAIN) — WTB has hired industry veteran and mountain bike racer Jeff Kendall-Weed as the international sales lead in the company's U.S. office. Kendall-Weed joins WTB from Ibis Cycles, where he served as international sales manager.

"For 20 years I've thought of WTB as a quintessential company in the mountain bike industry, making products that we all want to ride ourselves, all while dedicated to a lifestyle of two wheels in the dirt. I am very excited at this opportunity to join an amazing team of hard working individuals," Kendall-Weed said.

"Jeff is the perfect complement to WTB," said Gary Gleason, WTB's director of global sales. "His motivation and passion on and off the bike are ideal characteristics that are not easy to find. His unique skill set is perfect for communicating our brand, products and passion for cycling. We are very excited for Jeff to join our team."

Kendall-Weed will continue to race for Team Ibis Retro Cellars aboard his Ibis Mojo HD3 frame with WTB tires and saddle, and plans to compete in the California Enduro Series this season along with several other local and national events.
