Bike Roar adds US sales director, making Interbike debut

WALNUT, CA (BRAIN) — Australia-based cycling product website BikeRoar.com is moving into the U.S. market with its first Interbike booth next week, and the hiring of a U.S. sales director. In June the company hired U.S. public relations and marketing firm Verde to represent it here.

BikeRoar.com contains product information linked to IBD websites.

Monica Neilson, based in Brentwood, Calif., will lead the U.S. sales efforts for BikeRoar.  

“Monica is a perfect fit for our team as she brings a passion for cycling, extensive sales experience and truly ‘gets’ the essence of what we’re achieving with our IBD-Consumer Connect platform,” said Chika Sakane, founder and CEO of BikeRoar. “Her enthusiasm for cycling and for the specialty bicycle market will undoubtedly bring more value to our U.S. customer base.” 

“Having a presence at Interbike and U.S. sales presence for BikeRoar going forward will enable us to achieve our mission of connecting end consumers to local IBD’s in the United States,” Sakane said.
