CHATANOOGA, Tenn. (BRAIN) — BikeLugs.com is exactly like it sounds: a one-stop shop for framebuilders looking for lugs, tubing and other framebuilding supplies. Kirk Pacenti, the company's owner, announced last year that he was closing down the company, but another party expressed interest in buying it.

The retail tracking service says less traditional bikes are driving sales growth

PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y. (BRAIN) —  The NPD Group says IBD bicycle dollar sales grew 6 percent in the 12 months ended in August, driven in large part by growth in sales of electric, hybrid and mountain bicycles.

Fox indicates it will expand to more price points with Marzocchi brand.

SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. (BRAIN) — Fox Factory Holding has agreed to buy "certain assets" related to Marzocchi's mountain bike suspension product line. The company did not say what assets it will buy, but indicated that it will market the Marzocchi brand worldwide and use the brand to hit new price points.
