Titus Moves to New Building in Tempe

Published July 20, 2008

TEMPE, AZ (BRAIN)—After 17 years in one location, Titus Cycles is moving its office and manufacturing facilities to a new facility in Tempe, Arizona.

The new space, which is only blocks from its current offices, will provide the company with much needed room to expand after three years of record growth.

At 14,000 square feet the new, stand-alone facility is nearly double the size of its old location.

“After being in the same building for so long, space and flow started to become an issue," said Pat Hus, chief executive officer of Titus. "As the company grew over the years we kept expanding into adjacent offices suites as they became available and eventually we started to become a bit dysfunctional. We’re excited to be able to design our production, assembly and warehouse areas from the ground up. The increased square footage is going to significantly improve our in-house production abilities as well as our communication."

GAI Cycles of Phoenix, who purchased Titus in March, was able to provide Titus with the capitalization needed to help make the move a reality.

“Titus is a premier brand in the bike community and as such we felt that the company required a facility that better matched its image. We also felt the timing was right to get the operations settled in a location that would allow for the growth we have planned over the next five years,” said Jeff Wasson, managing partner of GAI Cycles.

The company’s new address is:

365 S. 52nd Street
Tempe, AZ 85281
