QBP Expands Midwestern Sales Force

Published August 1, 2011

BLOOMINGTON, MN (BRAIN)—QBP has hired two new sales representatives to serve Illinois and the upper Midwestern states. They will provide support for QBP’s global consumer brands, and all vendors distributed by QBP.

“Our goal is to give bike dealers in these critical regions an unparalleled level of customer support,” said Martin Sahaydak, QBP sales manager. “By adding these highly
experienced veterans to our sales force, we can be much more responsive to the needs of our customers.”

Brendan Gecik, who will serve bike dealers in Illinois and southern Wisconsin, brings more than a decade of bike industry experience to his new role at QBP.

“I’m taking my industry knowledge to the street to grow the QBP stable of brands,” Gecik said. “I'll be driving the territory growth fueled by integrity, communication and service.”

With 23 years of riding and racing bikes, Gecik has enjoyed a colorful career, including a stint as a London bike courier. “I have a genuine passion for the sport, and a desire to inspire those around me,” he added.

John Gaddo will serve an expansive region that includes northern Wisconsin, Minnesota, South Dakota and North Dakota. Working as a local bike industry rep since the early
1990s, Gado has competed nationally in cross-country and bike trials competitions.

“Like QBP, my roots are in Minnesota. I’m looking forward to reconnecting with our dealers, sharing my knowledge and experience to help put every butt on a bike,” Gaddo said.
