CHICAGO, IL (BRAIN)—With more than 20 years of industry experience, Bill Keith has been hired by SRAM to fill a new road components product manager position.

"I look forward to continue building on that iconic strength along with the outstanding road product team SRAM now has in place," Keith said.

"My connection with SRAM takes me back to 1988 and my bike shop days with Orange Cycle. Alex Wassmann from SRAM stopped by and asked if I would try the new CAT-1 Grip Shifters on my triathlon and road bikes. From that time forward I have admired SRAM's ability to develop and deploy products that not only connect with the customer but also become an iconic product for SRAM and the bike industry."

Prior to joining SRAM, Keith was Cannondale's product manager. His past product development management experiences included CODA components, Road Performance and Elite Race bike categories, cyclocross bike categories and aero bike categories. Notably, many bike product and bike of the year awards were named for his road team's efforts while at Cannondale.

Keith is a passionate cyclist and competitive roadie. He's a five-time Ironman finisher, and a multiple year USTA Triathlon Age Group All-American and a past USCF State Road, T.T. and Cyclo-Cross Champion.
