DURANGO, Colo. (BRAIN) — Tailwind Nutrition's newest flavor in its Endurance Fuel line is Colorado Cola. Colorado Cola contains 35mg of caffeine per 100 calories; the company said it was "designed to provide all-day nutrition in a flavorful drink that will not upset the stomach."
Like Tailwind's other Endurance Fuels, Colorado Cola contains no artificial flavors or ingredients, no preservatives, no soy or dairy, is non-GMO, gluten-free, and vegan.
"Our customers have been asking for more caffeinated flavors for quite some time due to its inherent benefits for athletes," said Jennifer Vierling, the co-founder of Tailwind Nutrition. "Colorado Cola was inspired by the cola that many athletes drink at aid stations at races. This mix offers a milder flavor profile of cola that is not as thick and syrupy as traditional sodas, is easier to drink, and free of artificial dyes, high-fructose corn syrup, and other unwanted ingredients."
