Alongside his wife, Rebecca Cleveland, David owned and operated a successful bicycle retail store for 18 years until its sale in early 2019, and was the general manager and partner in a three-store bicycle retail chain for 10 years prior to that. Currently, David helps aspiring and current retailers as part of the NBDA's P2 consult program and writes for Bicycle Retailer. He added, "There is truth in data, and the results are impressive.
