BOULDER, CO (BRAIN) — After three consecutive months of decline, IBDs rebounded and posted the first month of positive sales this year, according to Leisure Trends Group.

BOULDER, CO (BRAIN) — Suppliers sold bicycles worth more in dollars this May than last May, marking the first month this year that dollar sales exceeded same month sales last year.

MOUNT PROSPECT, IL (BRAIN) — Cycling participation remained relatively flat in 2012, up a negligible 0.4 percent last year to 39.3 million, according to the latest numbers from the National Sporting Goods Association. 

Bike sales through outdoor retailers also weak
