Supplier Scorecards being accepted until New Year's

Published December 29, 2014

COSTA MESA, Calif. (BRAIN) — The National Bicycle Dealers Association is accepting Supplier Scorecards from its members through the end of the day Wednesday, Dec. 31.

The program gives retailers an opportunity to anonymously rate their suppliers on a number of factors, including profitability, customer service, brand value and commoditization.

Scorecards can be submitted at nbdasupplierscorecard.com; an account can be set up easily if you haven't used the program before. Retailers can rate as many suppliers as they want, and those who rate five or more vendors receive a free dealer report.

The program was launched in March. The highest ranking suppliers will be honored at the 2015 Interbike Awards Ceremony in Las Vegas. Average grades of suppliers will be made public and brands will be able to purchase detailed reports on themselves and the marketplace. The identities of dealers who take part in the program will be kept strictly confidential.
