Jax Has New GM for Irvine Store

Published February 8, 2011

IRVINE, CA (BRAIN)—Jax Bicycles Center, which operates eight stores in Southern California, has appointed Ken Fitzpatrick as their new general manager for their Irvine location.

Fitzpatrick, who has been with Jax for 11 years has worked at their Yorba Linda store, actually worked at their Irvine store from 2004 - 2006, according to a press release.

Fitzpatrick is highly involved with the local law enforcement community in Orange County and Los Angeles County. Every May, in fact, Fitzpatrick joins roughly 80 local Orange County peace officers on an annual charity ride named Project 999. The riders and Fitzpatrick caravan up to Sacramento, where they ride the roughly 580 miles down the coast. Fitzpatrick provides all mechanical support for the riders, and Jax donates parts, and even covers all of Fitzpatrick's expenses including gas for his own vehicle. Fitzpatrick has attended the ride for seven years in a row.
